Attachment Focused Therapy Models
A Better Way to Reach Attachment-Injured Children
Some of the most challenging children to support are those whose earliest relationships were marked by trauma, loss, or disrupted attachment. These children often carry deep emotional wounds. They may be anxious, withdrawn, angry, or even aggressive—pushing away the very love and connection they need most.
Traditional child therapy approaches often fall short, leaving both caregivers and professionals feeling discouraged and unsure of what to do next.
But there is hope. Emerging, evidence-based models are offering new pathways to healing by better matching the needs of attachment-injured youth and their families.
What Is TBRI®?
